Fernando Sanchez

House:

Fernando Sanchez graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and has been working in the education field for 23 years. Learning is magical for him when students master new skills, and they feel confident to keep learning. They bring their magic to school every day to continue being successful. His favorite hobby is play soccer. His favorite children's book is Thank You Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco. 

 

Francine Shelton

Francine Shelton graduated from Texas Woman's University and has been working in the education field for 17 years. Learning is magical for her because it does not happen when you plan the best lesson or show the best videos. It is a transformation that happens over time, and it can surprise you as well as the student. Her favorite hobby is reading mysteries. Her favorite children's book is Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh.

Cynthia Riley graduated from University of Texas of the Permian Basin and has been working in the education field for 32 years. Learning is magical for her when she sees her students actively learning while feeling comfortable, safe, and loved in her classroom. Her favorite hobby is being outdoors, most often with her pup. Her favorite children's book is It's Time for Bed by Mem Fox.
